Wind turbine GWO Global Wind Organisation RUK / RenewableUK Wind Turbine medical is an assessment of fitness to work on offshore and land based projects for the renewable energy sector. Renewable UK have defined the content and criteria of the medical.

Just-Health offer Renewable UK or RUK Medicals GWO Global Wind Organisation from our clinics. These medicals are designed to detect and assess any medical conditions that may compromise safety by creating a risk of falling or sudden incapacity requiring rescue and assure capability for regular climbing of vertical ladders and for working in hot and/or confined spaces. Together these ensure an individual’s fitness to work within the wind turbine environment.

Following the assessment a certificate will be issued in accordance with Annex I of Issue 2 (2013) of RenewableUK Medical Fitness to Work.

    Your RUK Certificate will be issued at the end of the appointment, unless a medical condition is found which requires consultation with the employer and/ or Authority. The longest duration of the certificate is 2 years.
